The Best Foods for Skin Health

The food we eat has a big impact on the health of our skin. When we desire to have healthy skin, it’s vital to incorporate skin-loving foods and start from the inside, which then reflects externally through our skin.

SKIN LOVING FOODS:

  • Oily fish (mackerel, sardines, anchovies, salmon, etc.)

  • Walnuts

  • Hemp seeds

  • Linseed / flaxseed

  • Chia seeds

  • Extra-virgin olive oil

  • Avocado

  • Leafy green vegetables

  • Sweet potato

  • Beef liver

  • Red meat

  • Berries

These foods are great for our skin because they contain various nutrients that support it… from healthy fats and protein, to vitamin C, vitamin A, beta-carotene, B vitamins, zinc and more.

I recommend consuming at least one of these foods per meal when skin health is a focus or priority. The beauty is that they're easy to incorporate and taste great!
