Signs you’re emotionally eating


 

In this episode of the podcast, I share the definition of emotional eating and some of the unexpected (& expected) signs that you're doing it.

I go into the reasons diets don’t work, such as:

  • Looking for food out of boredom

  • Eating when you’re sad or upset

  • Rewarding yourself with food

  • Mindlessly eating while you watch tv

  • Find it hard to stop snacking once you start

  • Snacking when you’re not hungry

  • Eating past when you’re full

  • Craving particular foods / types of foods

  • Getting irrationally hungry

  • Finding yourself staring at the fridge/pantry

  • Generally eating more food than your body needs

  • You’ve tried your fair share of fad diets

  • You’re unhappy with the way your body looks
